Upsie Daisie

I feel like throwing Upsie-Dasie out of the window!!!!

If you don't know what I am talking about try listening to CBEEBIES's Night garden while you are trying to work... Her singing makes you want to blow your brains off!!!

Seriously... what do they plan to teach kids with that bloody thing??? How to be annoying?

This is the only thought that crosses my mind at the moment... Not even helping them to go to sleep it does as it shows the main character being disobedient when is "time to go to bed" thus instigating the kiddos to refuse to go to bed...

Dunno... It might just be that I am soooo annoyed with that thing that if I see it's creator I'll throw HIM out the window!!!!

ouch!

zya!

WOW!!!

I know i shouldn't have done it!!
But I just couldn't resist...

Good job I LOVED it... Found it mind-blowing... Best movie I've watched in ages!!!

And definitely, positively, will watch it again with Vic tmrw (or tonite)!!!

I am talking about "I Am Legend".

Thumbs up!

And by the way... it even gives a pretty good message on faith... and on hearing God... and actually doing what He tells you to do... Purpose...

Plus you get Alice Braga and Will Smith kicking some serious butt!!!!

hehehehehe

4:30am... will try and get some shut eye... :)

About Boys and Guns...

See... I am not completely wrong in playing with guns with Tommy!!! :)

Read this article from the BBC News website.

The bit I like the most for some strange reason is:

The trouble with weapons is that the toy gun is often accompanied by aggression
Steve Sinnott
NUT

Notice the "NUT" under the guys name... as in nut-case... hehehehe...

The fact is that boys need this "aggression" to develop as boys, it is in their genes, part of their basic instincts, of course supervision is more than welcome but not suppressing it completelly... No wonder Britain has such an enormous amount of homosexuals (1 in every 16 according to data from wikipedia and Avert some 3.6 million people which if you consider the population of Britain it is enormous)

Let the boys will be boys... I say...

Hey, please do not misunderstand me... nothing against Gays... I have some very good friends that are... and they all know where I stand with the notion... It is not the natural course of things... but in the end is their decision...

Anyways... Long day ahead so gotta go!

zya!

PS: In case you don't know NUT actually means National Union of Teachers and on a final note: not all teachers are nut-cases. :)

On a brighter note

Random news from the internet.

w00t (with 2 zeros and not "o"s) has been chosen as "Merriam-Webster's 2007 word of the year". (read the article here)

The "word" that actually means "We Own the Other Team" in the gamers circle (the "zero zero" comes from kicking some serious butt and making the adversary lose with zero points) is gaining the streets all over the world!

That's it: Geeks UNITE!!!! lol

Dude... I sooo love what this world is becoming!!! Well most of it anyways... :)

And so this is christmas

yup... the season has started with a bang!!

And a big one at it!. This was our first Christmas as hosts! Yeap... Crimbo was at our place this year... although Tommy's started about a week before time (he went to Mum's so poor Vic could have some rest... not that she rested much but hey...).

It started with a bang because the moment mum, Chris and grandmathe arrived with tommy, she tripped on the door step to the lift and cracked her head open! Vic first aided her and after some time she had to be taken to hospital. 4 hours later they were back and Grandmother had 5 stitches on the head... and we were all starving so we had Christmas Supper at almost 1 am.

We only went to bed past 2:3am but Tommy still didn't forgive us and decided 10 am was a niiiice time to wake up!

lol... this is life... the joys of parenthood! :)

Going to the in-laws when morning comes... Let's see how interesting is the rest of Crimbo!!! :)

Zya!

On a brighter note:

Tommy got LOADS of remote controled toys, from helicopters that actually fly to an anfibious tank that actually shoots airsoft ammunition. Loads of fun!! hehehe but sometimes he has to remind me that the yare HIS toys... lol

The end of the world!!!

Maybe I do watch to much TV... lol...
I need to make this note... just in case it does happen.. lol...

The end of the world I mean...

According to Michael Travesser, leader of the Strong City cult based in New Mexico the world will end on the 15th of December 2007. That was just revealed to the whole world on channer 4's documentary "The end of the world Cult". lol

Of course he also said it would happen on 31 October 2007... so let's see what happens... :)

great job the bible actually gives us instructions for these situations... you will find that in Mathews 24... I'm pasting some verses... but read the whole chapter if you have the chance...

23-25"If anyone tries to flag you down, calling out, 'Here's the Messiah!' or points, 'There he is!' don't fall for it. Fake Messiahs and lying preachers are going to pop up everywhere. Their impressive credentials and dazzling performances will pull the wool over the eyes of even those who ought to know better. But I've given you fair warning.

26-28"So if they say, 'Run to the country and see him arrive!' or, 'Quick, get downtown, see him come!' don't give them the time of day. The Arrival of the Son of Man isn't something you go to see. He comes like swift lightning to you! Whenever you see crowds gathering, think of carrion vultures circling, moving in, hovering over a rotting carcass. You can be quite sure that it's not the living Son of Man pulling in those crowds.

29"Following those hard times,

Sun will fade out,
moon cloud over,
Stars fall out of the sky,
cosmic powers tremble.

30-31"Then, the Arrival of the Son of Man! It will fill the skies—no one will miss it. Unready people all over the world, outsiders to the splendor and power, will raise a huge lament as they watch the Son of Man blazing out of heaven. At that same moment, he'll dispatch his angels with a trumpet-blast summons, pulling in God's chosen from the four winds, from pole to pole.

32-35"Take a lesson from the fig tree. From the moment you notice its buds form, the merest hint of green, you know summer's just around the corner. So it is with you: When you see all these things, you'll know he's at the door. Don't take this lightly. I'm not just saying this for some future generation, but for all of you. This age continues until all these things take place. Sky and earth will wear out; my words won't wear out.

36"But the exact day and hour? No one knows that, not even heaven's angels, not even the Son. Only the Father knows.

Stay Blessed!

X-Mass Hits

I am really amazed by how many X-mass hits are actually xmass hits... :)
the response is actually none...

I have just spent the past 30 minutes watching "the most festive" in TMF (the program description actually says: "the biggest and best Christmas Hits") and the closest thing to a Christmas song shown on the program was recorded about 20 years ago...

Does everyone forget hat Christmas is supposed to be about?? I mean forget the whole pagan festival thing, and the fact that Jesus wasn't actually born in December... but I thought it was supposed to be about a Guy that changed the world with His teachings and the things He did...

And do you want to know what is THE SCARIEST thing of all??? Having a band called The Darkness singing the most annoying Christmas Hit ever... and even worse... that Christmas Time (don;t let the bells end) was actually the closest thing to a christmas song... lol

So do I hate Christmas? Nah... just the fact that everyone is so hypocritical to think that one day in the year you have do be jolly... and one day in the year you have to desire happiness to all... and be a good neighbor, a good parent, or a good son... Tha once a year you have to be generous and think about other people... What happened to doing that everyday???

Ok... maybe I don't actually like christmas like I used to when I was a kid... maybe the only reason I don't completely hate the date is because I now have a kiddo myself and I know I can't take that away from him.

Must sleep... My ramblings are way to random tonite... I blame the stinking cold that got me again...

Jeezzz...

Crazy People everywhere!

yeap... you've heard it well... crazy people everywhere.
Check Vic's Blog and you will see exactly what I mean... lol.

Was good fun tho. Strogonoff was a bit salty... but great!!!
Eating mum's food is great sometimes... :) I'm happy she's not far far away like most of the mum's of people I know.. sometimes I think it would be great... lol... not not most of the time!

I am watching "The Alamo" now... It is supposed to be an experience on persistence... right now I am starting to think it is a lesson on how to be stupid enough to die... Although... thinking it better... those men died for what they believed.. Stood there to the end... So I suppose it might be also a lesson for us, new generation of Christians...

Maybe we need a revolution... we need to be ready to stand for what we believe... we need to be ready to live and die for the cause... we need to be ready to go and stand up to the challenge... HOLD THE ALAMO... not only when we are in church... but wherever we go...

My heart is in fire!!!
I wanna paint this big old town RED!!!
