In a not so bright note...

It is now definitive!!!

I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GOING TO UNDERSTAND WOMEN!

Having spent the whole day in the jungle (oxford street) looking for a suit and shoes for Vic (yep... she's bored with her job) I right now struggle to find out how they can find so much fun with such a futile act of self torture??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

And the worst bit is: She did not respect the promise of never ever ever taking me shopping again!!!Well it was a threat but who am I to complain!!!!! ( ;) )

Anyways, on a much brighter note:

I've got an X-Box 360 for my birthday!! (YAYYYYYYYYYY!!!! you can wait more news on it! I've been playing with Windows media centre and there are some codec restrictions there that are quite hilarious!!! hehehehehe)

And Thanks to Chris I now have a DIY solution to fix my digital SLR... It involves a wooden tooth-pick and taking my camera into pieces... :) But I supose it has to be better than the alternative of paying £129.20 to Jessops and waiting for 4 to 6 yeeks to have the camera I use almost daily back!! :) Lest's see how it goes... lol!!!

Zya!

Thanks Jamie!

Mr Turtle is a real JERK!!!! :)
lol!!!

From the BBC Website

"Over-55s 'causing holiday havoc'

Beach in Benalmadena on the Spanish Costa Del Sol
The Foreign Office is warning of drowning tragedies
Older British holidaymakers are causing the sort of trouble normally associated with the younger generation, the Foreign Office has said.

Over-55s are endangering their health by drinking too much alcohol and trying out dangerous sports such as bungee jumping on overseas trips, it warns.

Excessive drinking has led to abusive behaviour from some fifty-somethings, according to the Foreign Office.

Over-eating and over-drinking has also resulted in drownings, it added.

The Foreign Office said recent surveys showed 20% of 55-plus holidaymakers try activities they would not contemplate at home.

In addition, nearly two in three admitted not taking out travel insurance on their last trip overseas, and more than half of older holidaymakers drink more alcohol abroad than they would in the UK."

My view on it?????
Awww... let them be happy!!!!! :)

It's a hard knock life...

Yup... Today has been one of those days...

Tommy's new "Tutor" (nanny), that is Giovanna, started today. and life was heaven for most of the day. Ok, I have to admit that at first I was a bit annoyed by the whole TV on MTV thing... but then I turned round to say something and Tommy was the one siting and watching... lol

Then we had a couple hundred of Tantrums because "Vanna" was doing things that daddy was "posed" to do, like preparing lunch, and taking him to the park, and carrying him back home and feeding him tea, and giving baths getting him dressed etc etc etc... But he was as good as gold when were back.. sleeping on her chest as they watched some kid's show.

We most definitely must prepare an activity calendar so she know what to do with him when and what she is allowed to do when, etc etc etc, but apart from that it was great!

Maybe now I can start sleeping at nights instead of staying up to try and work because I can't do it during the day.Hope this works out...

Mum's been at it again.. about the fact of us not having a temple...

aiai... gotta taker a nap before dinner... worst thing is... I have a video conference at 2 am

colol..

ziya!

Think Splinter cell...

... hummmm I'm on into something!

:)

Random Thoughts...

How do you start an army without making it look like an army and without acting like one????

I wish I could know... I am still too revolutionary deep in my mind??? i wish i could raise Crossedwaves and each of the Surge Groups just like the Movimiento was raised.. where all were part integrand of the Revolution.. all would live and lay their lives for the cause.

We might have churches joining us but I still don't see us as churches... And I get SO agitated... annoyed... well angry when i can't just tell everyone "sod with that"! We're not supposed to be just an other denomination... WE ARE NOT! So lets stop acting like one!

I need people that thinks like me... People that would live and die for the mission we've got: to unite the body of christ.. so that we can raise as one army of Go... instead of a divided kingdom! Show people that if we all push in the same direction we go further than if we each push somewhere different...

It is the truth... but I wish I could say it openly so that all can see:

I have a dream!

I know I know...

... I've been quite absent lately...

My excuse this time is that I am Ill... very ill!!!

I've got the mother of all coughs! No joking!!! And not just that... my throat is killing me... All my limbs ache and I generally just feel like staying in bed all day... unfortunately that is not an option.

I have a manual and some forms for surge to finish and they won't complete themselves will they?

We're also having our first SURGE meeting of the year!! yayyy!! :)

It will be at the Hays Gallery in London Bridge, 3 pm... so if abyone actually reads this blog and would like to come along.... feel free to do it... we will be the small group of crazy people on the far side, closest to the Belfast pier. :)

I promise I'll be reporting more often... I need to finish the re-doing of my website as well... the problem is that I have so much to do with the taking care of TB + CWI + ill + myself + Vic + mum + Family problems (will detail that in an other time... haven't got the energy for it... but it has something to do with the girl punch up I've posted before...) + Life... but hey... Thank God I'll have some help from next week onwards. Giovanna is coming to London and she'll be tommy's... nany??? :) that means I'll have more space in my head to get things done... I'll nee dsome energy injection... but that's just the basic of basics. :)

Pictures... as promised... here are the first 103 holiday pics... the rest will be posted when is posted... heheheeh... click on Vic's bum to open the album and enjoy!

Hasta la vista!

We're Back!!!

Heeeeyyyy!!!
Long time no see!!! About a month methinks!!!

Yeap long one month"vacations" in Brazil... Now I need some vacations from my vacations! lol
Soooo much have happened that I have no energy to tell it all! but lets try a super duper short story... hehehe :)

Flight to Brazil was great... Had to sits only for me... then when I switched with Vic t stay with the TB a lil while he grabbed my arm and fell asleep... so pretty much non eventful trip. Didn;t think he was going to be so easy! Was actually expecting some screams and tantrums and all... He is a good boy really... :) Realized that when on the way back had to stay away for a whole week... missed him so much... but speak about that more to the end.

Now comes the bad poart of the trip... so lets try and say what happened with only short sentences:

Take passport to renew/going earlier than expected to Salvador/hating the heat when got there/ taken positin that oxford street use to take for me/picked up at airport taken to house/house huge an quite nice/bored of staying in the house/2 episodes/3rd episode and then girl fight/Punch up involving V, Y & M/Things get worse/climate goes downhill/late to gest suit for wedding/late to wedding (that's becoming tadition)/taken by surprise to give blessings over wedding/tommy danced all night long... well at least till we made him go to bed... but he was the soul of the party/we moved to islan/I had a nervous breakdown at the island/reaction between 2 drugs for pain and a calmant they gave me/doped.. counted tiles was soooo cool/I was put in a forced leave so didn't so didn't go to Paraiba/Ordination was great but good job I didn;t go because roads were awful and they arrived after we left back to Brasilia and we would have lost the tickets/back to Brasilia Yay!!/emergency passport denied because Policia Federal guy in charge is a lazy arse/run to get things fixed just to discover they had the document they said they didn't all along/Carnaval so they didn't work for a week/went there to find out they lost my documents/stayed there all dey long and idiots don't tell me I gotta pay before seen PF arse/meanwhile Vic could not do operation so gets depressed/everything is Y2's fault/~By then I am sick and tired/passport not ready in time for trip back home/have to remark ticket and pay way too much for that/Vic and Tommy come back home without me and I stay behind other 4 days/Thanks to Isa and Gaby's grandma I get my passpor nect day and reset tkt to monday/ Tommy feeling ill and refusing to eat/tommy feeling worse and we think he misses daddy and mummy and home as he goes to vovoh's house/I set my tkt for monday/airplane delays 1.5 hours in Brasilia/Flight arrives in the morning in Portugal, I get on the plane but we get stuck inside because Brussels decided to do military exercices/flight gets home late and mum is worried sick/by then she had called so many times grandma was worried in Brasilia and Vic here (mum starts thinking about funerals and stuff lol)/took tube back home/got home and life is upside down/started to get things right but lost GSOE's contract (they were bought by other company that has an Internet division)... amen... well..../ life gets sort of back to normality/

Of course some good things happened as well.... like seeing old friends that we missed so much, and loving being back in Brasilia, and getting the Free Hug recorded, and doing something I haven't done in well... about 10 years which was getting together with my cousins... the ones I grew up with as best friends, and Tommy starting to speak portuguese... Seeing dad and having tommy have contact with him...

Might have hated Salvador and will never set my feet there again, but was great to take Tommy to the beach(real beach not like we have here in the UK) and play in the waves etc... :)

Got new perspectives... METANOIA! Something old God always nails in my head... and it always becomes something new!

We've now got 4 Surge Groups in Brazil!! :)

All in all it was GREAT! Even with all the inconvenient and problems we might have had there it was well worth the trip... Just hope not to have to wait other 4 years to do it again.

I am tired and might need some vacations from my vacations...

But all in all I am happy!! VERY HAPPY!!!!

And now to truly start the new year!! and start conquering... and advancing!!!

:)

LET'S DO IT!!!!

DIY King (Of Fools)

One would think that doing something as simple as fixing a lock to a windows would be something soooooo easy!!! Yeap... easy to any person in the world but me!!!

It just took me the best part of 2 hours and a half to finish fixing the lock to the window! That of course after having to re-do it about 4 times because I've fixed one of the pieces to far out or too far in or too high or to low... and one of the times even because I forgot to check if the lock's key was locked (which it was, making impossible for me to close the thing).

One would have thought that following the instructions would be simple enough and that by doing so (once in my life) I would get the job done in a jiff and would have time to do whatever else needed to be done before embarking to Sunny Brazil... But nooooo... Life would not be that easy... not for me anyways!!!

Finally tommy took pity on me and came to help me finish the window once and for all... his help? well... play by my fit on top of the sink and encourage me by saying Daddy.!!! come on!! finish this up! I am hungry!!! I want food!!! can I do that that you are doing??? etc etc etc..." that for about 30 minutes when he got bored... but managed to shout "Yayyyyyy" when I finally got it done.

sooo... it is finally done... I found a spot of rotten wood in the window... but that is going to be my next DIY adventure!!!

AFTER WE COME BACK FROM BRAZIL!!!!!

All in all an other successful day!! yayyyy

Is Europe becoming a platform for terrorists?

I really don't know which one is the worst... If it is the US paranoia (well within reason but nevertheless excessive) with terrorist attacks or if the public opinion about it.

According to US Homeland Security head Michael Chertoff (the guy in the photo) the security checks for travelers going from Europe to the USA should augment exponentially. Check the story from BBC News.

I believe this is well within reason! Lets put it like that: Not only the Muslim community in Europe is MUCH bigger than anywhere else (and growing geometrically), augmenting the risk because of bloody Islamic extremists, but also there is almost no way to track a person once he/she is within the EU frontiers. OF course governments will say they have everything under control and all but I know a number of people that is within the EU borders illegally (some for years) and the respective governments of the countries they are in have no idea. Worse... they seem to travel a hell of a lot more around Europe without a visa than I do being legal... :) cool uh?

Lets face it. Europe is at risk of becoming a huge platform for terrorism.

The worse bit is how alienated the people here seems to be. Read those comments from BBC's Have Your Say and you will know what I mean. Most people seems to have no idea of what they are talking about. And for others the Anti-American feeling speaks higher than reason.

The only worrying thing is that the last place accused of becoming a platform for terrorist was Iraq... should we prepare for an invasion from Almighty US&A in order to "liberate" us from evil???

It's the end of times peeps!

I might have response!! I think it is time "church" gets out of 4 walls and becomes more active within the community it is... Time for churches to stop fighting and mouthing each other and to get together with ONE purpose... the one they were put together in the first place:

To go and tell the world about The Way, The Truth and The Life!!!

Time to men action stations!

Eldest

I have just finished reading Eldest by Christopher Paolini.

If you don't know what book I am talking about... think Eragon (which By The Way is sooooo much better than the film or the game!!! :) )

And if I told you you won't believe who is Eragon's Brother... and who's his sibling!!!!!
(That's for you Vicky Boo! Should I say??? :) )

Dude... I can't wait for Book Three of Inheritance (Book 3 of the saga that should be released on September 23 2008 (still un-named))... And by the way... there will be a book 4!!!! So... Eragon Fans unite and say with me: YAYYYYYYYYY!!!! :) (For more Info check this out)

That was a first and even with all the difficulties to go back home (queues of 3 hours to get into Waterloo station, only to have to walk all the way to Vauxhall to be able to get into the train... :)

Upsie Daisie

I feel like throwing Upsie-Dasie out of the window!!!!

If you don't know what I am talking about try listening to CBEEBIES's Night garden while you are trying to work... Her singing makes you want to blow your brains off!!!

Seriously... what do they plan to teach kids with that bloody thing??? How to be annoying?

This is the only thought that crosses my mind at the moment... Not even helping them to go to sleep it does as it shows the main character being disobedient when is "time to go to bed" thus instigating the kiddos to refuse to go to bed...

Dunno... It might just be that I am soooo annoyed with that thing that if I see it's creator I'll throw HIM out the window!!!!

ouch!

zya!

WOW!!!

I know i shouldn't have done it!!
But I just couldn't resist...

Good job I LOVED it... Found it mind-blowing... Best movie I've watched in ages!!!

And definitely, positively, will watch it again with Vic tmrw (or tonite)!!!

I am talking about "I Am Legend".

Thumbs up!

And by the way... it even gives a pretty good message on faith... and on hearing God... and actually doing what He tells you to do... Purpose...

Plus you get Alice Braga and Will Smith kicking some serious butt!!!!

hehehehehe

4:30am... will try and get some shut eye... :)

About Boys and Guns...

See... I am not completely wrong in playing with guns with Tommy!!! :)

Read this article from the BBC News website.

The bit I like the most for some strange reason is:

The trouble with weapons is that the toy gun is often accompanied by aggression
Steve Sinnott
NUT

Notice the "NUT" under the guys name... as in nut-case... hehehehe...

The fact is that boys need this "aggression" to develop as boys, it is in their genes, part of their basic instincts, of course supervision is more than welcome but not suppressing it completelly... No wonder Britain has such an enormous amount of homosexuals (1 in every 16 according to data from wikipedia and Avert some 3.6 million people which if you consider the population of Britain it is enormous)

Let the boys will be boys... I say...

Hey, please do not misunderstand me... nothing against Gays... I have some very good friends that are... and they all know where I stand with the notion... It is not the natural course of things... but in the end is their decision...

Anyways... Long day ahead so gotta go!

zya!

PS: In case you don't know NUT actually means National Union of Teachers and on a final note: not all teachers are nut-cases. :)

On a brighter note

Random news from the internet.

w00t (with 2 zeros and not "o"s) has been chosen as "Merriam-Webster's 2007 word of the year". (read the article here)

The "word" that actually means "We Own the Other Team" in the gamers circle (the "zero zero" comes from kicking some serious butt and making the adversary lose with zero points) is gaining the streets all over the world!

That's it: Geeks UNITE!!!! lol

Dude... I sooo love what this world is becoming!!! Well most of it anyways... :)

Zya!

And so this is christmas

yup... the season has started with a bang!!

And a big one at it!. This was our first Christmas as hosts! Yeap... Crimbo was at our place this year... although Tommy's started about a week before time (he went to Mum's so poor Vic could have some rest... not that she rested much but hey...).

It started with a bang because the moment mum, Chris and grandmathe arrived with tommy, she tripped on the door step to the lift and cracked her head open! Vic first aided her and after some time she had to be taken to hospital. 4 hours later they were back and Grandmother had 5 stitches on the head... and we were all starving so we had Christmas Supper at almost 1 am.

We only went to bed past 2:3am but Tommy still didn't forgive us and decided 10 am was a niiiice time to wake up!

lol... this is life... the joys of parenthood! :)

Going to the in-laws when morning comes... Let's see how interesting is the rest of Crimbo!!! :)

Zya!

On a brighter note:

Tommy got LOADS of remote controled toys, from helicopters that actually fly to an anfibious tank that actually shoots airsoft ammunition. Loads of fun!! hehehe but sometimes he has to remind me that the yare HIS toys... lol
